Silly Myths

Along with the armchair experts and some quite good jokes, the Corona Virus pandemic is generating some suspect remedies.

Our son told me one today, on the good advice of his clerk who comes from a family of doctors.
They have stocked up big time on tonic water as reckon it will kill the virus.
Of course if you are partial to a nice G&T in front of the fire on a cool, damp evening as we are enjoying right now you might not think it such a silly idea after all. Anything's worth a try isn't it ;-)

I've also heard that Balkan 176 Vodka is 88% proof making it a suitable ingredient in homemade hand sanitizer. 
Our Russian friend, Wally, dismisses that as a very silly use of vodka.
