Jacob's Well. Bristol

Behind these lions is believed to be a medieval Jewish ritual bath with some of the oldest writing (in Hebrew) in Europe. Later on, people would visit the site to drink the water (for health reasons), this lead to a mass poisoning, they are buried here.
