Snowy Burns Night

'The met has predicted 8 cms of snow', was the cheery text I received this morning in Edinburgh, from busboy in Glenrothes. We arrived in his little area of Glenrothes at lunchtime and although this square was still white from previous snowfalls, it wasn't snowing. Two hours later, this was the view from his house! After an afternoon of supportive DIY (supporting Barrioboy!) and a last visit to my niece's family (wee Michael and baby Katie, blipped recently), we're now back in Largs with my mum-in-law and just had a lovely dinner of steak pie and trimmings.
