Kitchen window

Day 3:

When I pulled the kitchen blind up this morning, this rose greeted me. It is growing very near the window, and a cheerful sight on a cloudy morning.

We had a long walk from home this morning and saw a few people who all greeted us but kept well away. 

It’s been very sunny this afternoon- Jill has continued to cut the trees at the front of the property and we have chatted to neighbours either side of us from our own properties. We are having virtual drinks at 6pm with some friends - so that will be fun. There always seems to be so much to do at home! The days go very quickly!

Take care everyone. It’s hard when the numbers keep going up- but we have been warned they will for another 2 weeks before we start seeing the positive impact of us staying home and staying in our own bubbles.
