My present pleasant view

After a week of challenges, one of the biggest seems to be to remember to stop for lunch. Today I purposed to stop for lunch, go to the house, and eat. Which I did.

Turns out one of our staff texted me at that time with some serious personal questions. I didn’t see the text over lunch and my non response was not well received. Created more work for myself.

Anyway, I got home late tonight and we had some simple fare. Wieners and beans on toast with roasted/fried potatoes and some hot tea, and a boiled egg. Perfect for this day, this week.

And now I sit down here and I’m listening to some of my favourite music. All kinds, pop, classical, classic rock, country, I love it all. It’s been too long since I’ve sat with my music. It’s certainly blipworthy.

There were a few emotional moments in the day that surprised me. A sadness I hadn’t expected came. It reminded me that I’m human too and that these days in this world are worth a few tears. I guess I’m still processing it all. Helping others then there I go forgetting that I’m a part of humankind.

Feelings eh?
Go figure.
