... I think I’ll go with the new Solnit book. We were disappointed that her book tour was canceled, so we didn’t get to see her, but have been watching online interviews.

Having loved Lindy West’s first book “Shrill” I’ve been looking forward to reading her new one - I got it for Terri for Hanukkah.

My book group (which I joined so I’d read more fiction) has “Where the Crawdads Sing” scheduled for later this spring - I still have plenty of time to get to it.

We had a late afternoon sidewalk/porch visit with one of the children, his mothers, his new baby brother, and our friend Janne. It felt almost normal to be socializing in this way.
