Over the last three days I have been trying to redesign parts of the garden but today the wet clay soil made it too difficult to dig in the rain so I went to Dalkeith Park. Beside the North Esk the snowdrops had almost finished soon to be replaced by bluebells emerging from the bright green leaves. Like yesterday I saw hardly anyone so had no difficulty maintaining social distance although on my walk back I did have to avoid about a dozen people.
