A day in the life

Garden pottering

All morning was spent at the computer editing music. It's a job that requires quite a lot of concentrated listning so I can only do about two-three songs and then take a short brake, moving my body a bit, having a coffee or a sandwich before I continue. At the same time we were having a lovely spring day outside so at one o clock I decided I needed some fresh air and some fysical action in the "green gym", as my fellow blipper HarlingDarling calls it.

The given task was to cut away some twigs and branches that has wildly spread via the roots from old bushes and trees that hasn't been held back for years. Some of it I tend to every spring but the bit you see in the blip has been left alone to spread by it self from before I arrived here. Three hours later I managed to clear this small area nearest the stone wall and the flower bed to the left. I'm only using hand tools so my hands are really sore from their unusual work. I should have take a before and after picture but you have to trust me when I say you couldn't see much of the wall and hardly the flower bed at all, so I'm quite proud having at least started the battle. Maybe I even plant something, who knows.

After that work I went back to my editing and finished it by eight o clock this evening. Now I'm waiting for Bengt, my playmate, to have a listen before I can leave it and head on with my next project.
