Another sunny day!

This morning more office sorting done, cheese scones made, washing done and lunch prepared. A doze after lunch was the order of the day followed by a good walk. The granite house is where my Mum was born 91 years ago. It’s just down the little lane we call Cherry Lane (where Colin is in the red jacket) so close to our house. The bridge was built for Lord de Saumarez so he could cross the road safely. It used to be open when I was a child but due to health and safety is now closed. We ventured through the nature walk and across the playing field where we spoke to our son and family over the hedge. Back along the beach and home to our Guernsey flag flying in the garden. Two more in extras!
