Hoy (Day 1786)

Today had been a busier day. I had a couple of call outs to deal with. First off a trip to Holm to deal with a blocked wash basin. It took a while to clear, and eventually I managed to drag a mass of matted hair and cotton buds out of the waste pipe. The customer insisted that neither the hair nor the cotton buds were anything to do with them.
Back to town to the next job, sorting out the feed for a washing machine - probably not an emergency, but certainly important for a family with young children.
While I was in town anyway, I paid a cheque in to the bank, and visited Tesco. The shop wasn't as busy as I had expected, but there is still no loo roll or flour. I don't understand the panic buying there has been.
Back home for lunch with  my beautiful wife then along to the yard to deal with the horses and wander the woofers. The weather was lovely and the view across to Hoy was too good to ignore.
We zoomed home in time for HV to get ready and head off for a 24 hour shift at work. I used up the last of the fine weather out in the garden making a start on taming the lawn.
