Backlit Blackbird

Quite a ruckus in the trees this morning as the blackbirds defend their territory. This one was taking a rest on a rather pretty branch.

First shopping done since a week ago, David left me at the Mangettes Lake, as still as the world around us (extra) while he did the supermarket run.

The news in Europe and Britain does not get any better, so desperately sad for people to have to suffer without their families around them. We shall continue to stay home with a short local walk every day, it is the only way we can help others.
