Confinement, Day 10

is it cruelty?

Not if it's a sourdough starter it's not! It took the confinement for me to actually get down to it, after years of procrastinating.

I found the perfect jar (its glass lid lets air in, see extra) and started on Wednesday thanks to a recipe given to me by Sue (61Daisies). It's a project. Now it's a teaspoon of flour and a teaspoon or two of water everyday for a few days, then let sit in a warm place until the next day! I hope in a few days I can explain "It's alive!"
