Hard Frost

Several degrees below zero this morning. Lightly frosted leaf edges, leaves curling slightly due to the cold.

I don't know what this plant is, just a chance seedling that appeared, uninvited against the fence.

It is Prunus laurocerasus, Cherry Laurel, related to Bay Laurel. While the Bay is used in cooking, this plant is highly poisonous.
