Allermuir Hill

A cool morning. last night's rain means patchy ice, especially higher up and along the Water of Leith path.

Grey and cold at lunchtime. My shots of Allermuir Hill on the lunchtime walk don't really show the scale of the Pentands. The blip is taken from Meadowhouse Rd. Even though the hill is a few miles away, it still towers over the houses.

The weather is ok on the ride home, first time in ages. This weather this winter has been pretty grim.
