Day 12: Back On Top Again

We thought we'd risk going up the hill this morning first thing. Despite the patrols and road blocks of the past couple of days, all was quiet.

Then straight away afterwards, I drove to Pueblo Nuevo to the farmcia,  Overseas supermarket, then to Mercadona and then back home.

All without incident.

Except to witness two policemen, without masks or gloves, standing right next to each other in the supermarket, laughing and joking.

And to have a woman come up behind me and peer over my shoulder at the chicken in the chiller I was  choosing from. I turned round and collided with her. So much for one metre of space.

Now we are holed up at home once more. No need to venture out for another week.

But we might sneak up the hill again tomorrow.
