Anemone

Another sunny day spent mostly in the garden.

Breakfast in the summerhouse, a catch up over social media with family and friends, a chat over the fence with a neighbour.

A jacket potato with tuna and side salad for lunch, then it was on with painting the decking and balustrades. I did the deck whilst hub did the spindles etc. After a couple of hours, it was finished, looks so much better. I painted the little wooden bridge over the pond too. Maybe a blip for another day ;-)

Todays garden blip is one of our pinky purple anemones.....a different variety to the little white and blue woodland ones we have, but equally lovely.

A roast chicken in the oven late afternoon.
Chinese chicken curry with onions and peas with rice, and kale sprayed with frylight, sprinkled with salt, five spice and sweetner, dried in the oven at 140 for 15 mins, and hey presto chinese crispy seaweed :-) for dinner tonight.

The granddaughters have been putting their artistic skills to use with rainbows in their windows showing support for all the key workers and tonight we were all clapping to show our support for the NHS, who are working tirelessly and for all carers everywhere too.

We are thinking of getting out for a proper walk tomorrow, hub not been out for days.
We have a parcel to post so maybe a walk to the post office and back.....we shall see.
