Owlet

I haven't checked on the Great Horned Owlet in a couple of weeks, in part because the nest is too high up in the tree for me to get great shot.  Since the park has walking paths, isn't heavily trafficked, and is close to home, I figured it was worth checking out today.  At first she was hidden behind Mom (to the right in the photo), but up she popped and looked right at me.  Or so it seemed.  Anyway, with a bit of noise reduction, you can at least get a look at that precious face.
