The Yaffle

or Green Woodpecker as it generally called.  The bird was pecking for ants in my newly "mown" and raked lawn early in the morning.

Yet more gardening.  Spoke to a couple of friends over the phone.  Then my brother who had been working on the farm paid a visit in the garden sitting at least ten feet apart .....  Two parcels were delivered and left on the mat and  were later picked up carefully, opened and then a good hand wash.  We shall have such clean habits after all of this. I think I have enough food for a week or so ... fresh and frozen.
