feel somewhat guilty today as taking leave for a couple of days. We're still being encouraged to take our leave as we're in for a long haul , although I should have been off for 3 weeks but now it will be maybe 3 days. Our department, paediatrics, hasn't felt the full impact of this yet and it will hit us a little later than the adult team, as we're gradually having staff redeployed and our adult colleagues start to go off sick. For now I shall enjoy a bit of gardening whilst I still can , do a bit of work from home and try to avoid the news. Its beautiful weather again , just a shame the ambulance station is just up the road and a constant reminder.
