Bins

In our area of the Village, the rubbish collection is on a Monday and this week it was plastic, glass and paper.  Now Wednesday and no collection yet.  People have left their bins out just in case.

Someone I know in the waste collection business told me that presently the bin men are collecting three times the weight of rubbish from domestic properties because people are at home the whole day, eating three meals a day.

I also get the feelling that some people are taking the opportunity to have a bit of a clear out!

The Council has said that this rubbish will now be collected at the next planned collection in two weeks time.  We shall see.
