Blissful Silence

Out on my walk today, up past the lone tree, and to the top of the rise. I stopped for a few minutes just scanning the horizons in all directions. Very little in the way of human sounds. Couldn't see another person. A few cars on a road about 3 miles away.

I startled a big hare (see extra), about 30 pheasants, a muntjac, and of course the usual wood pigeons and jackdaws.
