A day in the life

Heaven has landed

I just love this time of year, from mid March till June. After a lot of music-editing indoors I went for a walk in the sunshine through my garden, now filling up with Skilla. Freezing cold winds, but there's such a force in everything growing and wakening. The birds are starting another breeding season, composing as many new songs as possible to attract someone to mate with. I had to stop in the middle of a step to let a wave of gratitude pass through me, that I'm alive in the middle of the worst crisis I've ever experienced, to be a part of this wave of optimism and power that nature goes through right now, along side of all the people fighting corona either as patients, administrators or caretakers. It's surrealistic that so many has died while  all this life-force and rebirth is going on simultaneously.

Today is "waffle-day" in Sweden. We celebrate spring by eating a lot of waffles. Strange isn't it? I wrote about it last year, read about it here.
With a little bit of imagination the waffle I made has a resemblance to a Covid-19 virus. Suddenly, making waffles and eating them became a ritual and a spell to destroy Corona.
