Frilly flower

Day 2 of lockdown.
Self-isolation is a strange phenomenon. I can’t recall previously spending this much time on the phone and FaceTime as now. We humans are social animals, and thank heaven for the technological means of staying in touch while necessarily apart. Happily I’m still enjoying my beautiful Mother’s Day flowers, including this exquisite frilled tulip.
