Bath Time
I suppose that if you take size into consideration these guys were practicing 'social distancing'.
At one point there were about have a dozen starlings seeing how far they could splash the water.
It was a frightening distance.
The sparrows were having to wait their turn - although there were suspicions that this starling was drowning and the sparrow was just waiting for the thrashing to stop.
I did some weeding this afternoon. The patio has increased its width by about 18" and the garden refuse bin is now about 1/3rd full.
Given that the council has shut all the refuse centres there is no point in rushing to get the garden done because I will not be able to get rid of all the rubbish and I only have a couple of builders 1 tonne bags (which I wont be able to lift even if it is only with weeds and trimmings).
I foresee the fly tipping rocketing as all the morons do up their gardens and clear their garages and houses and find nowhere to dump it legally.
We had a phone call from one of SWMBO's cousins during the afternoon.
She would appear to be recovering from 'The Virus' that she got from one of her students. Her partner has not suffered anything. We were concerned about her mother - who stays in a hamlet in France. It would appear that so far nothing has reached there.
There was a video call from the monsters this evening. Squirrel found it extremely funny that she had got dressed up for her on-line martial art class …… and found out that her father had got the time wrong -- by 5 hours. I am sur that she wont miss out on anything has he is currently training to a be an instructor.
