Exiled Daffodils

Our friends bought us these daffodils a week and a half ago but I had to put them outside in a vase as, although lovely to look at, daffodils have a bad effect on my asthma. I've waited patiently for them to flower.

We walked down to the town square again today as we realised we were out of potatoes and mushrooms. We managed to get all we needed from the weekly market (see extra) but a sign said this would be their last week, though they would do home deliveries. The butchers where we bought sausages yesterday has now closed, though they will do a click and collect from their farm shop.

We met several neighbours on our walk, and everyone was maintaining a sensible level of separation. I don't think we've ever had such regular interaction with neighbours, albeit at a distance.
