Breathing space

Just a short walk tonight to where I could lean against a fence post, breathe deeply, and look. Nature continues, her rhythms don't stop.

The sun shone today and that makes everything seem better. Work-wise I'm sorted for as long as I have work to do.

I can video meet when I need to and and the work phone system and I are finally friends. I'm not sure what I did but it's transferring from my work PC to my home computer.

Sometimes my garden feels like a bottomless pit when it comes to stuff to do. I'm so glad I have it. What a delightful sanctuary to look out on or be in. Jasper and I had coffee out on the macrocapa bench this morning. I'll be spending a lot more time in it over the coming weeks.

I have all that I need. It's just one day at a time now as we enter lockdown. I've effectively been in lockdown since late Monday.

Today's gratitude: For a sense of calm and a friend who bought me a roll of duck tape.
