Its finally arrived!

After a slight overnight dusting, the snow finally set in mid-morning. We took the Dynamic Duo down the fields alongside the wood and they had a ball chasing each other, imagined prey (voles, maybe!) and their own tails.
Lunch time was a bit of and adventure as we were out with the dog-walkers for a celebratory lunch. In a couple of hours that light covering deepened and we were rather glad to get back home and indoors.
The girls here are surveying the pristine white wilderness a.k. the garden.
