Deserted areas

As predicted the panic buying started as soon as shops opened their doors this morning.

The other panic of the day was our director calling an urgent meeting to discuss finance and the withholding of salaries. Total over reaction of course which was surprising from an otherwise level headed lady but it led to some unnecessary anxiety. Thankfully ist was resolved in less than 20 minutes.

Arnie was making the most of his ability to get out for some exercise so on my way home I met him for a beer. I really feel for the staff of restaurants and bars who have no way of knowing where they are going to get some cash. Hopefully employers everywhere will do the right thing without unnecessary panic.
