Day 25: landscape. (Awful landscape, lets not talk

L has demonstrated a classic example of the terrible twos today. Everything I did was wrong and left her tantruming on the floor. I'm guessing she'll either be ill tomorrow or sleep for 15 hours!

The paths were so crazy and icy today so when we were offered a lift from afyernoon playgroup to the school I couldn't say no. This however meant I couldn't pick up my camera and do my planned shot. I hate the picture I've included but I guess part of keeping a photo journal is that you take the rough with the smooth. The average pics with the lame ones.

Girls had their first football session today. I thought M would do well as she went to a football party last year and was pretty fast and nimble. E really shocked me though. She was a great team player, got stuck right in and was happy to chase and tackle for the ball. When it was all over her fresh rosy face was a picture, she was bursting with pride, I could tell. My 2 are the first girls who've joined the football club and E felt she did a good job of representing her species ;-)

The walk home was bloody scary. I can't describe how slippy it was on foot. We just kinda shuffled the whole way home, right next to the dual carriageway at rush hour, in the dark. All 3 kids, crying wih cold, tired was and anxiety about getting home in one piece.

We came home and threw the meal rule book out the window by loading up on porridge, bananas and blueberries for dinner. We really needed it and it hit the spot.

J working late on the Supper Club tonight. Every penny towards the car's gear box helps.

Happy Friday blippers. Have a good weekendxx
