Sock It To Me
A term whose origins I associate with the Laugh In show, late 60’s to early 70’s.
Also, the ending of Aretha Franklin’s ‘Respect’. But one that I did not see coming, Mark Twain’s usage of the phrase 'to sock it to someone' which meant 'to put something bluntly'. There are more, but in my blip context, the laundry shadows on the wall simply made me think of it.
And for those in desperate need of healthcare; they will continue to love their autocrats.
