Another Slice of Soup

The Sunday chicken did three good meals, and the carcass made a good stock.  Add to that the unused veg from Sunday along with the excess gravy (a good lump was left over), the ends of the asparagus from last week, and the remains of some baby potatoes that weren’t fried up for Sunday breakfast, some tomato puree, left over wine and double cream (that would have gone off), etc and bingo - another soup.
 
Delicately consumed with chunks of home made bread, and we will not need much for dinner this evening.
 
 
Good shopping day today.  Sainsburys have finally recognised this old f*** as a wrinkly with special needs (over 70 - Mrs W is more in need than me), and I have got a delivery slot for Thursday.
