Snow Day

This morning we awoke to the most beautiful of sights! The hills of Saddleworth were smothered in a blanket of snow. Boo and I were like children all over again! We phoned in the news to our employees and set about or days plans. Sledging down the Dovestone Reservoir was high on the agenda and we borrowed the girls sledges to do just that. It was MEGA!!! We haven't laughed so hard for ages - and I managed to capture some of the high jinx on film for prosperity!

After a few hours of bruising, screaming and ice up our arses it was time to take a walk to a nearby pub for some hearty grub. We meandered around the country lanes armed with the Canon camera and managed to snap some great photos of our neighbourhood in the snow. After the 2 mile hike our disappointment was high as our pub of choice was closed! And our second choice of pub didn't serve food on a Monday... It was the only slight ballache to an otherwise brilliant, fun, exciting, memorable, impromptu day together.
