Flooding on the sand dunes

It's not much of a photograph but at least another record shot of the flooding on the sand dunes in Ainsdale this year. It is not unusual to see some of the 'slacks' ( the low areas between the dunes) flood a bit in the winter but the amount of standing water this year has been different. The amount of mud too is unusual! The Nature Reserve is still open for exercise assuming social distancing is kept to.
