Sunrise

A beautiful sunrise this morning - a bit of cloud cover was giving some nice colour. Taken at about 06:15 during my permitted exercise outing. Only saw two other folk - both kept respectable social distances away!

Awoke at 4 a.m. today - uncomfortable that we may now have to go and fight in the supermarkets as we are no longer classed as ‘vulnerable’ by the government - and presumably our daughter will not be permitted to drive here with supplies. Can’t get a delivery slot booked anyway. Sainsbury’s booking system has been taken offline now. Couldn’t even get on Tesco site as it was so busy. Mental.

Have now discovered that we have new ‘virtual’ children! One of our daughter’s schoolfriends still lives locally and by coincidence has parents who live near our daughter in Doncaster. So it would appear that they have made a reciprocal arrangement to deliver stuff to each others’ parents to save us going out and save them travelling! Brilliant - but I do feel completely useless at the moment!
