Work finally made the decision to close today. As it turns out, just in time, since we had the day to prep for closure before Boris’ announcement.

Spent the day packing up everything high value and moving it all to secure rooms/the basement (they’re worried about looting). Katy and I had a cuppa while we worked, but no breaks all day so I left absolutely knackered. Made sure to extra-appreciate my walk home, probably won’t be seeing it for a while!

Home to have a bath, eat leftover curry, watch Masterchef and hug Matt about a billion times.

They’ve told us they’ll pay us for the whole month, but that only gives us a couple more days, and then we’ll be furloughed and onto the 80% plan. Still can’t believe this is real.
