The Camargue

Yesterday we woke up to the news that all restaurants in France had been ordered to close. We realised that the health crisis is rapidly worsening and decided to cut our holiday short and head home today. We were able to rebook our train to Paris to connect with Eurostar. The journey took us down to the Camargue, seen here from the train window, before heading back north - so we travelled the length of France in a day! It wasn’t how I had planned to spend my birthday but it’s certainly one I won’t forget.
