The Times comment on ignoring advice.
I hope those who are presently ignoring it, will take heed!
This is the reason we now have more stringent measures in place today.
It remains to be seen if the ones who think it doesn't really matter decamp in droves to Cornwall, the Lake District and Wales.
The world is going to be a very different place when there comes a time to be able to venture outside our own isolated boundaries.
I also would like to comment that this is nothing like during the Blitz in London, as I have heard it mentioned several times. In the the sense of having to self isolate and socially isolate.
The cafe's, bars, coffee houses, restaurants, theatres and cinemas all . remained open, albeit under difficult conditions.
The parks and gardens remained open.
My dad was stationed in London during the Blitz, documenting it in a diary I had privately published after he died in March 2010, 10 years ago this week.
He went to the theatre and cinema, one time having to be locked in during an air raid, along with a lot of others. He also went boating on the Serpentine enjoying, as he put it, some time of tranquillity.
Our Birmingham Vineyard Church is live streaming a time of prayer, as are others, twice a day, at 1.00 pm and 7.00 pm.
We join them each day.
