Park Life 2: Botanical Gardens

I printed out a list of Sheffield Parks and Open Spaces yesterday to see how many there are and so I could cross them off. There are 93 to go at! Number 2 today: bitterly cold, but I went down to the Sheffield Botanical Gardens for an hour. At first I saw nothing in the way of bird life, but after a while, troupe of long-tailed tits appeared, then blue tits, great tits, robins, blackbirds, nuthatches and this treecreeper, which posed nicely for several shots, but I liked this one of the little bird preening and fluffing up his feathers
