Good Advice

These flowers were left in a bucket in front of a gate we passed on our walk this morning. I thought someone might be giving them away, so I read the note. It said, “They’re a bit gaudy, even a bit ostentatious, but beautiful. Listen to Art Pepper, “But Beautiful.”

That turned out to be an excellent suggestion.
