Cheeky Boy

Whilst I was doing a tele-conference today, Merlin snuck up on to one of the chairs.  He knows he should not go on them and is really far too big to sit on them properly but he loves to be up high and stick his nose up whilst he rests.  Needless to say that once my meeting had finished he was kindly asked to remove himself and sit in his bed - which he did, as he always does, without any grumbles.

We've just had an address from Boris Johnson and been told that we are now in lockdown and only allowed out for food and medical supplies and once a day for exercise.  That means Andy and I will have to walk Merlin separately if he is to get two walks a day.  I will have to sacrifice my dog walk some days so I can go to the allotment for an hour or so as my one outing for exercise each day.  This will last for three weeks (at least).   This is going to be difficult, but I think it was inevitable given the way people were still going out and mixing in groups and the speed at which our rate of C19 infection and deaths are increasing. Thinking of you all.  Take care.
