Isolation

Today was meant to be the first day of working from home and it’s gone absolutely terribly. Seems wrong to be acting as if nothing is amiss and continuing my PhD from a stranger’s spare room. Anyone else having trouble getting down to it?

On the upside tonight is the first night of the virtual pub quiz that one of the history PhD students is putting on for the rest of us every Monday. If you come last you get to pick next week’s bonus round so I am fully expecting that next week will feature obscure questions about the Middle Ages. Unless I come last of course (also quite likely).
