An afternoon in
In front of the fire. With a book!
This morning I was up and out early (for me) and sallied forth to Tesco for a weekly shop. I’d made my list from my menu for the week and happily was able to get everything except yeast. There was no flour in the home baking aisles either, so obviously all the home bakers are busy!
I’ve just helped the Ards Man lift a bandsaw from our garage up to his new workshop, so that was a bit of a sprockle, but we managed a slow stagger across the garden. I’m now back with my book - and blip - again.
I have to confess that I like having to be at home. I don’t know if I’ll feel like this in a week’s time, or a month’s, but for now I’m so happy just to be at home. I do feel very privileged as I’ve plenty to do to keep me occupied and loads of jobs that could be done if I feel so inclined. For the moment though I’m happy to sit in front of the fire and read. :)
