Hi jinks!

This afternoon, with great planning, I went out....
My friend and neighbour, and I hatched a plan, whereby I could go round to her house garden for a cup of tea and a chat. She phoned me, we each made ouselves a cup of tea, then I went round to the back of her house and into their garden where she was waiting with her cup of tea and 2 seats a good 2 meters apart! We really enjoyed a chat whilst hearing the fantastic birdsong and we even saw a great spotted woodpecker in the distance. I had taken my camera with me to get a change of scene for a blip.
They have a pond and a pair of mallards have arrived again, they seem to come every year. They were preening for ages and then they both started ducking and diving which was fun to watch. This is one of the shots I took whilst there.
