New normal

I needed to take Lizzie to the vet. The new normal is for the vet to come out to the car park for the consultation and to take the dog inside for treatment. All very pleasant on a sunny morning, and already it feels like any interaction with other people is welcome!

I drove back along Lindley high street, normally bustling and full of life. A few shops are struggling on, I feel so sorry for them, so many things have changed in such a short space of time and this is just the start.

Now back home to work.....

Edit - 2 hours later and there is a new, new normal with the vets - urgent consultations only with “appropriate bio-security measures”.
