He Will Hold Me Fast

The COVID-19 experience is all consuming at this point. We check in from day break until lights out for the latest information so as to take action if we must. Even when we turn toward social media we find the effects of this season with continual streams, prayer requests, and more often than not rumors and conspiracy fears. All that to say that it’s slowly becoming a way of life for all of us.

We went live on facebook for our Chapel service this morning. I participated with mixed emotions, but felt the Spirit calling me to do my part. I was moved to sing a song called ”He Will Hold Me Fast”, inspired by verse ten of Psalm 139. I returned afterwards and reached for a sanitizing wipe because that’s what we do now. Lord, hear our prayers.
