Spider

The black orb-weaver has been spinning a proper web, and I wondered if I could capture it tonight.  However, when I went to have a look, I saw that she was clutching something white, so I dashed in for the camera.  It looks as if she has made a parcel - I assume she caught something in the web. 

Had a Zoom chat with my younger daughter this evening - this emergency does encourage me to get on and try things.
