A funny old day

So much oddness to today. Everything seems to be in turmoil and plans have to be changed from day to day. So many people doing so many wonderful things and yet at the same time, so many people doing such stupid things.

Despite all the craziness, today turned out to be the perfect Spring day and so we were eager to be outside in it. It feels like waking up after the longest winter and there was such joy to be found: flowers in bloom, wildlife everywhere, the sun casting glorious shadows.

It’s an odd feeling; on one hand feeling like the spring has finally given us permission to be outside and yet the virus forcing us all back indoors.
