Fly

Fly and I reckon this is definitely the rather impressive remains of a hut circle. I would love to be able to go back and see what it would have been like up here over all the different periods of use, from the Romans on High Street, to the people that used the stone circle for whatever they used it for, and to those that probably lived here. What must it have been like?

Fly drew the short straw, or should that be, the short stick today having to be taken out by the worst dog walker in the world after her dad, craggy, has just had to have a serious knee op following walking off his 7a something or other climb in Spain and just making it back in time before things shut down. First I forgot her ball. Then I found a twig for a stick ..she looked askance (extra) and then when I started on bits of dead bracken she just gave me an old fashioned collie look (second extra).
