Splendid Isolation

Normally I’m a bit of a newshound, but these days the news just gets worse and worse. It’s better to ration the news. 

I was glad to finish work for the week and get some fresh air. Since I moved to Portobello I’ve loved living by the sea, and these days I’m more grateful than ever for the space and the light of the beach. And then this guy came skating along with a huge, joyous kite! 

There is still beauty in the world.
