Bee shrewd

Walked both dogs under the hill this morning.

Headed to allotment to plant the shallots.

A wee bit of apiary maintenance.

Helped eco mum with her plot.

Headed west to out apiary. Busy flying bees. Some feeding on the corcuses I planted. Some strange behaviour at 2 hives as lots of bees at the back on the varoa floor did not seem to be getting into hive.

Tea and chat with the laird at the correct distance.

Home and made dinner.

Popped down to stand at the front door of my mum's. The house that was so safe in my life and now it is out of bounds to keep it safe for my mum.

Found this shrew in one of the hives just under the cover board.
